Our journey in few words

1. week (Jun 15 - Jun 22)
15th the Friday: Our flight from Budapest to New York took around 8 hours, we all had a great time. They gave Sophia a leather moses basket, that is attachable to the wall, so she slept most of the time.
Jet leg was pretty rugh for a day, which is not bad. Baby adjusted pretty well.
We stayed at New Jersey at friends' (the Hendersons) barn. How biblical:) Ok, they turned it into a great guesthouse.

We visited Raul and Mary, Noemi, Luis and Carmen, Roger and Ann.

The Hendersons' guesthouse. Used to be a barn.

Raul the missions pastor of CC Old Bridge & Mary, his wife. Wonderful people.

Calvary Chapel Old Bridge lent us a minivan, so we went to see New York City. My poor mom got into the big cultural shock. Nobody speaks her language, everything and every face is new, etc. (It took her a whole month to be able to process America, but eventually she did:)

This is how we traveled with the van. Jam packed.

2-3. week (Jun 23 - July 7)
22nd the Friday: we drove up to Rochester NY, to visit Mike's family and friends. The 5-6 hour ride took us about 9.5 hours with the baby. We stopped for feeding her, feeding ourselves:), bathroom, gas, etc.
24th the Sunday: big family reunion for Sophia. She got gifts and we got lots of food:)
We saw so many new faces that our heads were spinning (except Mike's for they were his relatives). Mike's mom (age 86) just got out of the hospital after a hip operation, which is sad, yet she is a very strong woman. I can only look up to her.

4. week (July 8 - July 17)
8 the the Sunday: we drove another 3.5 half hour to North of Rochester where the family cottage is on Black Lake. We had a beautiful wheather till Thursday. We went to Alexandria Bay, took a boat ride in the Thousand Islands and enjoyed God's wonderful creation.
Unexpectadly I had to go to the hospital, where they removed my appendix, although it wasn't my problem, but some bowel infection. It was really hard to spend 3 nights without my baby, but Mike and my mom was a great help.
We also went to the Niagara falls.

5-6. week (July 17 - July 26)
Went back to Rochester on the 17th instead of the 15th and drove back to Old Bridge, New Jersey on the 21st, Saturday. And this is where we are right now. I recovered well and can't wait to fly to Murrieta, California, where we finally will settle down at our new home. We are leaving on the 26th, this Thursday.
